HOW TO: Get Straight Hair in 3 Steps

It’s been such a busy week for me but I’ve also been having the best time. When busy translates to ‘exciting’ you know you’re having a good week. One thing I did this week was shoot this video on how to achieve straight hair for a night out in 3 quick steps. Like I say in my video, this method really works for me as my hair is super long right now and I am always running late! The straightening I’m using in my video is The Kate by Halo and I’m loving it so much right now I thought I would include a bit more info in a post for you guys. Halo products are basically a collection of magic wands for your hair and they are sold exclusively at Hairhouse stores. The ceramic straightening styling iron is designed with Japanese Kyocera technology to create perfect one pass, satin smooth shine, all the while protecting the hair. I am also loving the temperature control with is tailored to suit fine to thick hair types. I also showed you the gorgeous bespoke illustrated scarf in my video and this comes with The Kate for a limited time only! اضافة تلميحات على روابطك CSS فقط

خاصية التلميحات من الخواص المميزه لتوضيح كثير من الاشياء سواء للروابط سواء كانت على كتابة أو صور فهي تفيد بتنبيه القارئ عند مروره على رابط او صوره لكي يفهم ما معناه او ما سيحدث عند الضغط عليه خصوصاً للمواقع المعلوماتية والإخباريه أو مواقع التي تستخدم صور وروابط بشكل كبير فهذه الخاصية تكون مفيده جداً هناك عدة طرق لإستخدام وعمل تلك الخاصية أشهرها وأكثرها امكانيات هي عبر تقنية JQuery لكنها قد تسبب بعض الثقل وقد تكون بها بعض الصعوبه في الإستخدام أما عن طريق CSS لإهي ستكون خفيفة جداً وسهلة في الإستخدام ويمكنك معاينة الفكرة بتمرير الماوس هنا وهذا مثال آخر على رابط لكن على صورة ومع عدد كلمات أكثر

 استبدل هذا الكود rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6 بلون يناسبك كخلفية للتلميحات او اتركه كما هو ان اردت اللون شفاف قليلا
الرقم 200 هو عرض التلميحات يمكنك زيادته او انقاصه
الرقم 10 هو حجم الخط
أما هذا #fff هو لون الخط

طريقة الإستخدام

أضف الكود التالي في اى مكان تريد وأنت تكتب الموضوع مع تغيير صندوق الكتابة من وضع تأليف الى وضع HTML

استبدل # بالرابط

واستبدل ***** بما تريد كتابته في التلميحات

Tiny Tea Teatox by Your Tea Review!

Those who have been readers for a while will know that I’m a big tea person. I’ll probably have less than 5 coffees a year but I drink a cup of tea everyday – usually much more than one! If you haven’t noticed I’m also pretty obsessed with instagram, so obviously I noticed the YourTea account as it gained more and more popularity. I had to give it a try. Looking at the Your Tea website I decided on the Tiny Tea 28 day pack (there is also a 14 day pack available). I wasn’t hoping to lose weight or anything, mostly just achieve a nice light feeling and a bit of a detox – plus trying new tea is always fun! I’m told the Tiny Tea teatox can be used by people who a) desire a detox alongside exercise & healthy eating, b) those who are overweight who want to lose weight – though will also be exercising and eating healthy, and c) for digestive purposes or to gain energy. So I guess I fell into the later category even though I do exercise and eat healthy too (sometimes) – but I mostly wanted to gain energy and continue regular digestion.

So when my tea arrived, my first impression of the sweetly packaged product was that it smelt just as sweet! I loved the smell and I think it tastes just like it smells – so that’s a big plus for a detox tea. When I started drinking the tea (recommended 3 a day) I did experience a little bit of an upset tummy for a couple days – however the website says that this indicates that the tea is performing changes and can be totally normal. So if you d try it and experience this too, don’t fear! Once you get over those first days it gets much better. In the beginning it was hard for me to keep up a regular routine due to events and meetings I was attending so at one point I decided to stop and start again at a better time. So personally, I would recommend planning out your teatox ‘calendar’ with care – just to make sure you’re able to stick to the plan and ultimately benefit from the Tiny Tea teatox. Perfect for someone with a regular routine (for example, those who have a regular lunch break at work). Luckily, I was able to find time to continue my teatox anyway!

While using the TinyTeatox there were a few things I noticed. I found I had a good amount of energy (tick) but I made sure to not push myself when running just in case. If you feel like a change throughout the day, mix it up with a touch of honey or some lemon. Sometimes I would have a tea with honey in the morning, a tea with lemon after lunch and a plain tea just before dinner. Also I found my skin was really clear – which is always a bonus! So for those that want to give a nice, healthy tea a try but a bit scared about a teatox, I think the Tiny Tea Teatox by Your Tea would be a great introduction! It is very gentle on your body, perfect for those with a daily routine and tastes lovely. If you’ve tried it too I’d love to hear your personal experience in the comment section. Happy weekend!

Something I do like about winter (apart from beanies with pom poms) is getting lost in books. Summer holidays are always great for reading but you're also distracted by the actual holiday in between - it's hard to actually get whisked away in the story. In winter you can spend hours in a comfy chair, with endless pots of tea and a good book. You know you're lost when you find a tear on your cheek after something terrible happens to a character you adore. I've got a soft spot for fantasy fiction and recently I've been reading the Gentleman Bastard series - the first being The Lies of Locke Lamora and I've just finished the second, Red Seas Under Red Skies. There's only 3 books at the moment but I believe there will be seven (plus a prequel). So I thought I would let you guys know so you could enjoy them too. Very easy reading, unpredictable and funny. ثم انسخ رابط الصفحة وابحث عن هذه الكلمة carturlpage في القالب واستبدلها برابط الصفحة

هذه الصفحة ستكون الخاصة بمعاينة المنتجات التي تمت اضافاتها لعربة الشراء عندما يضغط المشتري على ايقونة العربة باعلى المتجر يفضل ان تجعل عنوان الصفحة معبر مثلا محتويات العربة وايضاً اغلق التعليقات في هذه الصفحة

ثانيا طريقة كتابة المواضيع

كتابة المواضيع في هذا القالب ستكون دائما بتحويل صندوق الكتابة من وضع تأليف الى وضع HTML ونحذف اى شئ يكون موجود بصندوق الكتابة ثم نضيف به الكود التالي

في بداية القالب ستجد أكواد الميتا تاج قم بتعديلها

كرر الرابط الأحمر للحصول على رابط جديد

كرر الكود الكود الازرق من اول سطر الى آخر سطر بكل ما بداخله للحصول على قائمة منسدلة

الكود الأحمر داخل الكود الازرق يعطيك رابط جديد داخل القائمة المنسدلة

أما الكود الأخضر هو كود قائمة فرعية تكراره داخل القائمة المنسدلة يعطيك قائمة فرعية جديدة والكود الاسود بداخله يعطيك رابط داخل القائمة الفرعية

Broadway's Moving Catwalk

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going behind the scenes at Australia’s first moving catwalk! Hosted by Broadway Shopping Centre the catwalk featured both men’s and woman’s trends for the upcoming season, all styled by Catharine Sarjeant and selected from the stores at Broadway including Marcs, Bardot, Cotton On, Sheike and more! See a quick video from the show here.

The show was to celebrate the launch of Broadway’s #BeYou Booth which will be open to shoppers from Monday 2nd of June (next week! Wow time does fly, huh?) till the 15^th of June - Mon, Tue Wed & Fri 12pm-4pm, Thursday 12pm-8pm and weekends 11am-3pm. At the #BeYou Booth you get to play dress ups with some of the styles seen at the show and take a snap in the booth to be printed out to take home. I had a fab time striking poses with the lovely Bonnie of the blog ozbeautyexpert. I wore this cute little black lace panel dress from the new Candidate collection at General Pants, vintage belt and Zu shoes. Easy Bittersweet Cacao Brownies

I posted this photo of my Bittersweet Brownies on instagram and a few people requested the recipe so I thought I would post it here on my blog! I love this recipe because it's very simple, uses cacao powder and it's not sickly sweet. The are lovely and rich with dense middles.  I also like to make small portions, as who really needs 16 brownies ... unless they are having a party ... or a really bad week! 

Prep time: 10 mins

Cook time: 30 mins

Total: 40 mins

Ingredients 

70g unsalted, melted butter

125g raw sugar

30g cacao powder

Pinch of salt

1 large cold egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup (35g) all-purpose flour

40g chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 165 degrees Celsius. Line the bottom and sides of a 15cm square baking pan with baking paper (leave enough on two opposite sides so you can remove brownies later).

2.  Combine butter, sugar, cacao powder and salt in a medium bowl. Heat the mixture slightly (till warm - in microwave or in a heat-safe bowl over a saucepan of water ) in order to create a smoother mixture.

3. Use a wooden spoon to stir in vanilla. Add egg and stir vigorously until batter looks thick and well blended. Next, stir in flour and beat with a spoon for 50 strokes. Lastly, stir in nuts (optional).

4. Spread evenly in the lined pans and bake in oven for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick can be inserted into center and come out almost clean (a slightly moist mixture is key!) - if not then bake for a further 5-10 minutes.

5. Cool completely then remove from the pan. Place into freezer for 20-30 minutes to create nice clean lines when cutting. Cut into 9 small squares. Store in fridge or enjoy straight away!
