Something I do like about winter (apart from beanies with pom poms) is getting lost in books. Summer holidays are always great for reading but you're also distracted by the actual holiday in between - it's hard to actually get whisked away in the story. In winter you can spend hours in a comfy chair, with endless pots of tea and a good book. You know you're lost when you find a tear on your cheek after something terrible happens to a character you adore. I've got a soft spot for fantasy fiction and recently I've been reading the Gentleman Bastard series - the first being The Lies of Locke Lamora and I've just finished the second, Red Seas Under Red Skies. There's only 3 books at the moment but I believe there will be seven (plus a prequel). So I thought I would let you guys know so you could enjoy them too. Very easy reading, unpredictable and funny. Let me know your current favourite reads! Please share.
