InstaLOVE - Spring (Part 1)

Today I started putting together my instagram photos for Spring so far... but I've had so many amazing adventures over the past couple of months that I've had to split them into two parts! So here is my INSTA-LOVE post for September.

This year we had an unusually hot burst of weather in Sydney so that meant I was able to enjoy my new Triangl swimwear on the first day of Spring! It was then one extreme to the next when we travelled to Thredbo for our annual skiing trip. When I returned, in amongst a mountain of assignments, it was my 23rd birthday (the celebrations seemed to be endless this year! So lucky). Next it was off to HONG KONG! Luke and I had a mind-blowing, amazing time even though we arrived at the same time as Typhoon Usagi. 

At the beginning of the year I thought 2013 wouldn't be a great year and there was no way to top 2012 but September sure showed me wrong! More Insta-love coming soon.

Tropical Wish

wearing: Dress - WISH, Boots - vintage, bag - The Horse, necklaces - SDF x Uberfine. 

It was a super windy day when I wore my lovely lacey Wish dress to go get some fresh fruit, salads for the week and some sneaky coyo. I am excited to say I am taking part in the WISH Style challenge and I just thought this was the perfect beach dress for summer! I love how the tie features let you wear it however you want, with a baggy neckline or even a loose fit waist for in the hot hot heat.

You may also be able to make out the spike necklaces I am wearing. They are new designs from the latest Uberfine collection which were designed by yours truly! A closer look coming on the blog soon but you can also view and buy them online (silver HERE & rose gold HERE)! Perfect present for the girl who loves jewellery but with an edge.

Stripe Flounce

During the week I attended a lovely breakfast with the ASOS team to preview their upcoming 2014 collection. We were treated to toasted muesli, eggs and pastries (as seen on my instagram, of course!).

A few styles from the preview I had my eye on were the lovely boho dresses, embroided bags, bright clutches and patterned jackets. 

I wore my new favourite heels again which I have to say are extremely comfy for their height! I've had my eye on them since last year so I'm so happy to welcome them to the family. Love them.

Summer Shorts

These shorts are my new summer babies! Been wearing them over and over again since I bought them in Hong Kong even though they're about two sizes too big for me. I'm very much enjoying low cut, slouchy style, denim designs that we are seeing back again this year because they are so damn comfy (not to mention effortless)! This time I paired them with this wicked Yeezy tee and trusty boots for brunch down by the marina.

Black & Stone

Apologies for being MIA on the blog! On Thursday I had the biggest all-nighter ever. If only it wasn't due to a uni assignment, but alas it was. Terrible! Thankfully my uni load is getting smaller and smaller until exam time in a few weeks so stay tuned for some fun outfits & projects coming up!

I'm loving this dress. The first reason being that I was able to wear it out last night in the city for dumpling and cider at the Sydney Night Noodle Markets and then again today to the beach. Secondly, the print is wickedly understated. The best kind!

HONG KONG: Aqua

wearing: Cameo Skirt - Market HQ, top - Ottomode, boots - Sportsgirl, necklace - Wolf Circus and watch - The Horse.

We are coming to the end of my Hong Kong photo diary! Our 3rd night in HK we were finally able to eat at Aqua (aka Aqua Roma, Aqua Tokyo, Aqua Spirit). After having a huge lunch at the Press Room we decided to keep the meal light with some (amazing) scallops, japanese style eggplant wrapped in wagyu beef & a little pizza. At 8pm the Symphony of Lights put HK on show and we had the perfect view! Obviously the photos don't do it justice as it was 'romantically' dark at Aqua but trust me it was a treat.
