Like many of the stops on our travels, I wish we had more time in Austria! Oh the hills are alive .... with the sound of music. Had to get that out of my system. Moving on.
It was so pleasant and beautiful - both the scenic snow capped mountains and the colourful town of Innsbruck. We arrived in Innsbruck and after a stroll through town to take in our surroundings - an adorable town with a stellar backdrop of the mountains that just gets better the further you walk - we decided to try some local schnapps & treated ourselves to a huge cheese/meat platter fit for 10 people at a local pub. That night we all had dinner & drinks together at our hotel as it was a big day the next day travelling to Italy. Next up is one of my favourite places - Venice!
