The other day I decided to drop everything for an hour and take a break from the non-stop madness and go op-shopping! It wasn't a big haul but I was pretty damn please with these finds! Not only a brand new Topshop playsuit but a vintage glass cross pendant AND a old film Canon camera (WITH LENS)!!! I haven't tested the camera yet and I'm wishing wishing wishing it will work but otherwise I have an extra lens for my usual Canon SLR.

I wore these pieces from tweet-tweet that landed on my doorstep last week. A couple not-so-basic pieces that I'm excited to style differently throughout winter.

Silver Dreams

Snapped these photos before uni and midway though it started pouring rain! You may know I love the cold but the rain can't faze me because me and Luke have already booked a tropical getaway! If you've been following my tweets you'll know that Luke went travelling at the beginning of the year and as soon as he got back we couldn't wait to plan a new trip but together this time and in the middle of winter! We are only taking a sneaky 2 week trip to Bali in July but that little island is one of my favourite places so far. It's the best place to go if you want to live like you have no care in the world and can just relax. Already counting down the weeks.

Leopard Print

I'm back at university for the year which explains my temporary lack of posts but this autumn chill has snapped me out of my daze and I'm trying to get back on track even though I'm going insane from being constantly on! I'm not usually a leopard print type of girl but this coat is the perfect fit and cut that I am more than willing to change my ways. It almost borders on russian spy. Gladly adding this JUNK coat to my winter collection. Also have an exciting post on the way that I get to show you guys as soon as it has been approved!

Masquerade

Last week I attended a masquerade party and decided I'd make my own mask with a wide piece of black lace. I was pretty chuffed with how it turned out and since it wasn't bulky I wore it all night. HUNT NO MORE

Well here I am before an amazingly successfully trip to Ikea yesterday in my HUNT NO MORE tank with all its subtle-sequin & silk goodness! The fact that coloured denim has been around the block since last year doesn't bother me. It is still so much fun. Plus it makes winter exciting. I crave the mornings I wake up to crisp Autumn air and clear blue skies. Then again it's always better to wake up and stay in bed in this situation! Either way I say bring on winter. Or maybe after just one more week of sunshine, it's looking alright over the weekend in Sydney! Little shout out to Luke who brought me back this OPI nail polish from the US. The perfect shade of winter berry, yummmm.

Peplum Jungle

I decided to run with the idea of a dramatic shoot after finding these amazing cobwebs. There are actually two perfect webs in my garden right now and I caught this one as the sun was setting. The Peplum trend has been taking over fashion week all over the place which is why I was delighted to shoot these hot new pieces released by C.O. by Cotton On. A new collection from good ol' Cotton On including pieces specially designed for the fashion devoted which will be exclusively available online on Monday 13th February (here).

Emerald & Midnight

If the colour 'Midnight Suede' doesn't catch your fancy you'll be sold after you lay your eyes on these boots in person! Navy will always be my colour so these are like a perfect match. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a boots addict. "Hi, I'm Emma and I'm a bootaholic." Yep.

Also introducing my new favourite jumper. Names and colours are really getting me lately because this 'Emerald' piece had me dreaming of winter days before I even got a hold of one for myself from Market HQ. I kept my hair straight after the shoot on Monday because I love how thin it feels! Perhaps I'll be straightening it more often in the future.
