 So neon yellow has made a recent comeback in my wardrobe. I guess it's the whole 'Winter' thing looming over us that has made me want to brighten up my black outfits. But a bit of neon leopard print never hurt anyone really. 

I have to say that this skort is one of the most flattering pieces of clothing I have ever worn. This is not a drill, I am serious. I've never been at all trusting of skorts in the past but this one gets my tick of approval! Have you seen my kitty?

Huzzah for a new outfit post! 

On Saturday night I temporarily broke my 'uni work lock down' rule and went out for a Bento box with Luke. This time of the year gets utterly depressing with the amount of work there is to do. Sometimes people ask me, "how do you get everything done with uni, work AND blogging?"

I guess you just have to know your limits. Learn when you should power through and when you should take a breather. Otherwise your brain might pop! 

Obviously blogging is a fun way to have a break and reading your comments & love just makes it even better! PEACE lovelies!

Formal 'Double-Up' Affair

This dress was always going to be a risky choice for me, but what's life without a bit of risky business? Cue 'Old Time Rock and Roll'. It's such a great design I just couldn't resist its call. Also, you can't quite see in these photos but this jacket has some wicked yin yang print action going on.

Ink Print Tunic

On Sunday for Mother's Day my family gathered by the river with a picnic of cheese, meats, prawns and sushi rolls. I wore this soft, breezy tunic that I now really want in coral too, I love it that much. It was such nice weather in Sydney and we sat by the river for hours playing cards, eating and all the while trying to control my dog (Penny-Lane, who never sits still when you want her to). In short, she ended up in the river chasing after a toy. It was a great day.

On Saturday I attended a family birthday bash and it was cheese galore! Cheese, fruit, cake, salads, pork belly, pies, chips... thats what I like to see at a party, a good spread! Over my trusty striped dress I wore this army coat with wicked patches. 

The Texaco patch got me dreaming of travels because recently my thoughts have switched from backpacking europe to possibly an american coast to coast road trip. Both equally tantalising trips and I aim to do both one day. But which one will be first? I'm still pondering. If any of you guys have recently been across america and have blogged about it, please leave a link below as I am brainstorming places to see! xx

Since last week was so busy for both of us, Luke and I decided to grab brunch by the ocean on Saturday. It was a tad windy but still nice enough for bare legs. I've been on the lookout for the perfect pair of flat boots (since I have so many with some sort of heel on them) so when I saw these suede booties I knew I had found 'the ones'!

Plus, if you follow me on instagram you'll know that I am already obsessed with this bag. It just screams "fun times baby". AND it has pom-poms .... hello! What dreams are made of.

Teal Jeans & PR Visits

Last week I had a free morning to squeeze in a few PR showings & blogger events.
First up was the Steve Madden collection launch followed by Nine West, both held at separate penthouse suites at the Establishment hotel. Both included stunning designs for the coming spring/summer and of course sweet treats! Next was a quick visit to AMPR at Luxe studios. Really loving the look of the new Wildfox collection (Gatsby inspired!) and so excited for the new Jellys with heels!

I'm still super busy with my university classes and assignments but I also have lots more outfits coming this week so keep your eyes peeled for new posts, lovely readers.
