Friday Flashback: New Zealand 2011

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

This chilly weather has got me day dreaming about my trip to New Zealand back in 2011. It was hard to narrow down these photos as I have hundreds of photos from my trip that I never got to post at the time.

Yet again a strong case of wanderlust is kicking in and big plans for next year are already creeping (more like 'thundering') into my mind. I can't wait!

Burnt Orange

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketwearing: Dress - Beginning Boutique, clutch - vintage, heels - Novo, necklace - House of Harlow, large ring - Beginning Boutique.

I'm not always a lover of orange but finding these shoes on sale had me sold! The perfect pumps in such a rich colour makes this outfit extra special for me.

I wore this (extra girly... for me) outfit out in Sydney on Saturday for a friend's birthday and when midnight hit so did the torrential rain coming down in sheets. We ended up prancing down Crown St with rivers running down the gutters and by the time we got on a train it was as if we had been swimming with our clothes on. We just had to laugh and it became what's sure to be a memorable moment.

InstaLOVE - Summer

Photobucket

If your thinking that 'InstaLOVE Summer' was supposed to be 'InstaLOVE January' and I've forgotten to post it earlier ...you'd be correct! How did you know? You can follow me at @emmalucey on instagram. I for one have had a great summer and can't believe it's almost the 3rd month of the year!

All this week I am working on re-organising my wardrobe and selling LOTS of clothes, shoes and bags (new & vintage) at a market stall with 2 gal pals on Sunday morning at the Caringbah Markets. If you're in the area, we'll be hungover so come take advantage of us and our cheap clothes!

BARTMAN

Photobucketwearing: Bartman sweater (here) - She Inside, Shorts - Shilla, Necklace - Popbasic, bag - Boohoo, Shoes - Soles and Shades - Zero UV.

Yes, I grew up watching the Simpsons. So this sweater kind of blew my mind. I love it when something or someone reminds you that life doesn't have to be so serious. I think this definitely applies to fashion as well!

Navy day

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketwearing: Dress - Somedays Lovin, Hat - General Pants, Boots - Tony Bianco and bag - thrift.

I am going to miss Summer days wearing lovely light dresses like this.
At least I've been given a winter onsie for V-day today! Talking about Valentines day, the lucky winner of the SDF x Pandora giveaway is Jenny B! Congrats lovely.

Spin Dizzy Fall for SPORTSGIRL

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
wearing: Tee, vest, clutch & socks are all from Sportsgirl.

This afternoon my feature in The Blogger Edit for Sportsgirl went live!! (see some snippets below)
I've always been a huge fan of Sportsgirl since I was a teenager so I was thrilled when I was asked to be involved.

I had so much fun styling this 'Metallic' inspired look and shooting the photos in the city. I wanted to add a little bohemian flare to the look instead of a typical preppy metallic outfit so I chose the shaggy vest to layer over the metallic tee. See the whole feature on the Sportsgirl blog (here). Let me know what you think :)

HIGHWAY

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketwearing: Lace shorts & shoes from Goodnight Macaroon, Tee - General Pants, Shades - Zero UV (ebay), necklaces - Uberfine and bag - myLeather.com.au.

I've been working on a few little blogging projects lately (more info on that later) and last week it involved going shopping! My friend and I spent almost a whole day doing some very successful shopping which included a new pair of heels for (wait for it....) TEN DOLLARS, among other things. I was so pleased with myself after that find that we  had to buy frozen yogurt to celebrate (evidence on my instagram @emmalucey).
