'STYLE OFF' for PEDESTRIAN.TV

Photobucket

As I said in my last post, I was involved in a 'Style Off' last week for pedestrian.tv!
It was so much fun to meet the pedestrian team and hang out in the re-located Pedestrian HQ with Nicole (GPV), Darren (BOYMOMENTS) and the girls from SPITPRESS who all participated in the Style Off.

I decided to style a casual, winter look that was described as "street style" which was what I was going for with my favourite style of high waisted jeans and the thick knit! I liked the contrast of colour between the sheer top and the blue of the knitted cardigan.

The 'Style Off' photos went live on Pedestrian.Tv and their facebook page yesterday (EXCITING!) but I couldn't post this till now because blogger has been down (again...)!
I would love it if you guys and girls could send a vote my way by 'liking' my outfit on the Pedestrian facebook page here.

Every vote puts an extra spring in my step and all the support from my readers makes this even better. You're too good to me!

wearing: jacket/blouse/necklaces/rings/boots - all vintage, leggings - supre and bag from general pants.

This is what I wore to the pedestrian shoot last thursday! These were actually taken after the shoot by the lovely Nicole as we walked through Hyde Park and past the Archibald Fountain.

Just to catch you up, I took part in a 'Style Off' for Pedestrian.tv last week!

The Pedestrian Office relocated to Westfield Pitt St for the launch of LG's new Smartphone and the entire office was powered off the phones for the week. They hosted a styling challenging in which I had to style a look for $250 or under.
Behind the scenes photos to come!

White Russian

wearing: vintage hat, vintage coat, poncho tee & leggings - supre, vintage boots and mimco bag.

I'm at the age where all my friends I grew up with are turning 21 and on the weekend I attended an 'Around the World' party. I had my vintage wool hat and thought dressing in fur would be a good idea in the chill of winter so hey... Russian it is!

I was sent these biker leggings from supre and they look just like leather pants but way more comfortable. They are my new favourite winter piece.
One of my good friends went as a german beer maid so needless to say, well, we had some big glasses to drink from all night.

winter marina

Photobucket
wearing: loop scarf and sunglasses- sunburn swimwear, skirt - cassette society, tights - we love colors, borrowed boots and duffel coat (gifted and surprisingly warm) - supre.

About a week ago the sun came out from behind a wall of winter rain and we were given a sunny day to have some lunch by the marina.
It was still a little chilly and windy so my new loop scarf from Sunburn came in reeeeal handy.

I decided to mix some blue&orange in with my dark winter clothes for the day.
Sometimes you just need a couple hours break at a lovely place to remember how to relax.

ABOVE: me getting a bit too excited over my new watch

I have been going nuts over colour in outfits recently!
Whether its colour blocking or a basic outfit with a little pop of colour like this BREO watch.
Breo have sooo many different colours and designs but I couldn't resist the bright yellow Arica watch!

If you follow me on twitter you'll know that I have been wearing his baby non stop and it came to support me (and keep time of course) during all my exams in the past couple weeks (which I have now finished! HOLIDAY!)
I can't wait to style this watch in an actual outfit post too.

Also below is the cutest cat necklace you ever did see which came in the LIMEDROP gift bag from Fashion week. I shall call him bluey...

knitted camouflage

Photobucket
wearing: lace trim skirt - Shilla, vintage sweater, opshopped boots, vintage jewellry and misty green socks from we love colors

Shilla sent this skirt over for me to test run and I thought it was the perfect piece to show of some pretty socks and boots. These socks are from WE LOVE COLORS who (as stated in previous posts) currently have free shipping for AUS & NZ for orders over $30. Dont forget to enter the code WELOVENZAUS at checkout.
I'm a little in love with the socks! Mine are the solid colour nylon socks. I also have a bright red pair that I can't wait to go colour-block-crazy with. But maybe just hold off on the crazy?

On another note, I've almost finished my exams! This week I am working on a little project for the blog after my exam and then I am off on a road trip for the weekend. Just cause...
